On July 31st, we met up with Catie (and her mom Ms. Krissy) and Noah (and his mom Ms. Jana) for another Peabody Park Playdate. From about 10 'til noon, you guys played in the water area and devoured the snacks everyone brought. Running around, laughing and taking in the boats/barges that passed by on the river were such a fun time for you guys and it gave the moms some time to visit & catch up (which is my favorite part of our playdates!) Here are some of the pics I was able to snap during our fun time!!

Peabody Park Playdate
On July 24th we (you, Aiden & I) had a playdate with Callie and "Aunt Brooke" at Peabody Park in downtown Little Rock. We met up with them around 10 and stayed until lunch time. It was the first time the three of us had ever been but Aunt B and Cal-Cal (or Callie Ganae as you call her--her middle name is Lanae) have been before. The favorite thing to do seemed to be the water park area with the built-in water spouts --you specifically loved the "waterfall" and thought anytime you said "abracadabra" you made the waterfall come on (although I think it had a motion sensor or a timer on it). After the water park area, we walked around and explored--there is a tunnel you guys liked running in and they have a play area but it's more geared for bigger kids. We took lots of pictures of our fun time!! The statue that you guys have your picture made with is what you referred to as "God" statue...you were so serious when you told us that, too!
As an added bonus for the weekend, you and Aiden got your first treat from the "ice cream truck"--he came down on our street and I heard the music playing just in time to get some money for you guys out of your banks (well, out of your bank--she agreed to buy Aiden a treat); you each got a cotton candy popsicle. You couldn't gobble it down fast enough and you were such a cute little mess with it all over your face, I couldn't resist taking a million pictures!! I remember my own days getting treats from the ice cream man--I used to always get a grape snocone for $.50 and I can still remember how excited I would get when I would hear him coming!!

Happy Birthday, Brother!!
Since Aiden's birthday is the day before Fourth of July, I decided to wait a couple of weeks to have his actual party to celebrate his second birthday. This year we held it at The Little Gym in Little Rock on July 17th from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Grandma, "Aunt June", The Poe's, Callahan's, McCool's and three of his friends from school--Jake S., Mackenzie P., and Matthew S. were there. You guys had so much fun playing together and we encouraged you to act crazy!! After the party, we went to dinner with the McCools (we're so happy they've moved back to their house a couple of streets over from us). Here are just a few pics (we took almost 300!!)....
