Happy Birthday, Catie!!!

On February 13th, we attended your friend, Catie's 3rd birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese in NLR. The party started at 10 and as always, you had a blast!!  We didn't get to take as many pictures at her party because Dad & I were taking turns chasing after you and taking care of Aiden who decided to be extra, extra fussy during the party.

Big Snow Day 2010

When I woke up on Monday, February 8th, I was in total shock!!!! I looked out the window and there was snow EVERYWHERE!!! Apparently it had snowed a LOT overnight so we were "snowed in" for the next two days. It was just so weird because we had gone to Evan's birthday party the day before (my friend from work, Lisa's little boy) and it wasn't even that cold outside!!

Since you've only played in the snow once or twice and Aiden had NEVER even seen snow up until now, we decided to bundle up and play outside for a little while each day. You and Dad built a snowman in the backyard--Aiden & I went in because he didn't care for the snow too much. He would take a few steps, fall down, try to get up, scream and repeat. You really enjoyed it and loved to eat "waffles", which is what you called the big chunks of ice/snow......

Shooting Star

On January 28th you were awarded "Shooting Star" at school. This is an inter-classroom award that is given when you fill up a sticker chart from having good behavior, helping with "chores", etc. You received the "Super Star" award back in December so this was the next step up. Grandma & I attended the "ceremony" and you absolutely loved being the center of attention while all the other kids sang the "star" song (Hip, hip hooray! Hip, hip hooray! A shooting star is born today! Every day she tried her best and now she soars above the rest! Harlee is our star today! Hip, hip hooray! Hip hip hooray!)<---maybe not in that specific order but that's the song...then they spell out your name and you get to go on this "parade" where you walk around the other kids as they cheer for you!! You were so proud of yourself, and quite frankly sweetie, I am too!

Making a pallet

One of my favorite things to do when I stayed overnight at my grandparent's house was to make a pallet. Tons of blankets & pillows on the floor....cuddling up...it was so cool to me. You've really gotten into watching movies (your favs right now are "Charlotte's Web", "Sleeping Beauty", "Snow White", and "Pinnochio". You were super excited to "build" a pallet on the floor....Aiden didn't quite grasp the concept and thought messing the pallets up was more fun....

Happy Birthday, Drew!!!

On January 19th we helped one of your "besties" celebrate his 3rd birthday at Chuck E. Cheese's in North Little Rock.  For you, "Drew-Drew" + Chuck. E. Cheese=LOADS of laughter & fun!!!!  You had such a blast playing with some of your friends from school (Drew, Alex, Noah, Whitman, and Sam) and you absolutely LOVED when Chuck E. came out!!! This actually turned out to be a pretty fun family night. Since the party was on a week day night, they weren't busy at all and I think we were the last people from the party to leave!! I don't think we got home until 9 that night!! We had a lot of fun...between pizza, cupcakes, and playing games everyone really enjoyed themselves!! It's still so incomprehensible to me how all of you are 3 now!! I was looking through some pictures yesterday and found some that I took on the "last day of school" party when you all were in the nursery together at daycare!! I really do wish you all would stay this little forever because in 3 more years you all will be in KINDERGARTEN!!! I don't even want to think about that yet!! Here are some pictures from our fun-filled night!

Playdate on MLK Day

Since our daycare closes for Martin Luther King Day, we decided to have a playdate with the Poe's & Callahan's at The Wonder Place. We met there around 10 and left around lunch. You guys always have such a blast whenever we go there and it's so nice to be able to let you guys play freely without having to hover over you so much.

Happy Birthday Maggie!!

On January 16th you & I went to help your friend, Maggie, celebrate her 3rd birthday at The Little Gym in West Little Rock (Aiden & Daddy stayed at home). The party began at 2:45 but we were a little late getting there. Of course once we got there all you wanted to do was love on "Baby Davis" as you call him (Drew-Drew's new brother).  I did talk you into playing with your friends some, though. On the way home I asked you what your favorite part of the party was and you of course said "Baby Davis"!!!! I should've known.....
